Jeanette Woodcock, CPA
Jeanette has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in construction accounting and tax. She has co-built Woodcock & Associates, PC into a firm recognized, well beyond Virginia, for excellence in the field.
As the Managing Partner and President of the firm, Jeanette has assembled and supervises a staff of twelve well-qualified professionals. She oversees audits, financial statement reviews, and the compilation of financial statements.
Her tax expertise consistently yields significant savings to corporate, partnership, and individual clients. Her knowledge of business financial management enhances client productivity and profitability. Jeanette also contributes to published works on construction accounting.
In addition to being a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Jeanette is also active in the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), the Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA), and the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).
Since 1980, her career has focused on accounting for closely held companies. She had ten years’ experience as a staff accountant and manager at regional accounting firms prior to starting her own firm in Southern California in 1993. In 2000, that firm evolved into what’s known today as Woodcock & Associates, PC.
Michael Woodcock, CPA
Michael has 20 years of experience in multiple facets of accounting and tax preparation, including auditing, financial statement reviews, and compiled financial statement preparation. His tax experience includes corporate, partnership, individual, and payroll tax preparation.
As Corporate Treasurer, Michael manages the daily financial functions of Woodcock & Associates, PC. He also manages Woodcock & Associates individual tax practice and is considered a trusted business advisor for our tax clients. Michael has extensive experience dealing with the Internal Revenue Service and the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Taxation. That experience provides him with a breadth of knowledge and experience he shares when clients have questions about penalties, challenges, and other IRS- and tax-related topics.
A Marine with over 15 years of flying experience, Michael served both in the Fleet and the Training Command. While serving at the Marine Corps Training and Education Command, he prepared the Command's Operational and Military Construction Budget requests totaling up to $1 Billion.
